Scholarships for students
Note! A new wording of the scholarship regulations has been in force since the 2019/2020 school year.
The “Zakłady Kórnickie” Foundation eagerly supports education, providing young people free access to education. We are particularly interested in supporting students living in the rural areas and small towns, from families whose economic status does not allow them to meet the material needs related to education. We have been conducting a scholarship program for them since 2010.
Our offer is directed to high school students who graduate from secondary school with a matriculation and whose patrons are Działyńscy or Zamoyscy. Scholarships are awarded in cash for a period of ten months – from September to June. The students can use them for learning purposes, e.g. for the purchase of textbooks, teaching aids, books, monthly tickets, participation in extracurricular activities, etc.
Since the beginning of the program, we have supported over 100 students, most of whom have decided to continue their education at universities. We are glad that we could help them and encourage others to take advantage of our scholarship offer.
Special scholarships
A special scholarship fund for doctoral students and researchers of Polish universities has been established as a continuation of the scholarship program for high school students.
One of the goals of the “Zakłady Kórnickie” Foundation is to promote the history of the Działyński and Zamoyski families, which is why we offer special scholarships to people who want to devote their academic dissertation to the topic. The scope of the work may be varied and be devoted to: agriculture, forestry, nature protection, historical and social sciences. The variety of disciplines allows people with various research interests to use the scholarship.
The special scholarship is awarded in cash for a maximum period of forty eight months and aims to support the Polish scientific community. We encourage you to read the Regulations concerning granting and transferring of the special scholarship and the form necessary to submit an application.
